Ingénierie & Réalisations Africaines (IRAF) was founded in 1998 in the Republic of Guinea. Its staff is characterized by a wide range of specializations in the fields of electricity, information technology and telecommunications. Since its inception, IRAF has carried out several mandates for feasibility studies, detailed engineering and works supervision on behalf of power generation, transmission and distribution companies in sub-Saharan Africa. IRAF has extensive experience in the management of electrification projects and is now a recognized consulting firm in Africa by the players in the power sector, industry and infrastructure, as well as by major multilateral donors.
IRAF relies on a large staff of engineers and specialists in its fields of activity and related sectors including power generation, transmission and distribution, renewable energy, protection and security of facilities, infrastructure and computer networks. The permanent staff is supported by external consultants according to project requirements. In addition, IRAF’s human resources are in close contact with the group’s international partners to ensure, if necessary, technical support in terms of knowledge, expertise and know-how. This principle applies to all services provided to clients: design and study, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance.
IRAF’s management ensures that the professional capacities of the staff are strengthened through effective involvement in multidisciplinary projects, contribution to the activities of specialized organizations, active participation in professional seminars, continuous training and advanced training.
